Japan says 7 products imported from Russia hard to replace
TOKYO, Mar 31 (PRIME) -- Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry has on Thursday issued a list of products and materials, imported from Russia, that are hard to replace in the short term.
The list comprises oil, liquefied natural gas (LNG), coal and coking coal, gases, including neon, used for semiconductor production, palladium, and ferrous alloys for production of steel and stainless steel.
However, Japan sees ways to use alternative materials and supplies, and has assessed the economic impact of non-delivery of the products to Japan as insignificant.
